This notice applies to the released Color.Cee app for iOS, iPadOS and Android.

Data processing in the app

Color.Cee works without a user account. LessWord does not collect or receive personal data through the app. The app does not contain a LessWord analytics service, advertising tracker or profiling service, and it does not share app data with third parties.

Color selections and custom or team-color settings are used locally on your device to display the signal you choose. They are not transmitted to LessWord. Because LessWord does not receive this information, LessWord does not retain it on its servers.

The current store disclosures therefore state “Data Not Collected” in Apple's App Store and “No data collected” / “No data shared with third parties” in Google Play.

Apple App Store and Google Play

Apple or Google may process information independently when you search for, download, purchase, update or use store services for Color.Cee. This can include account, device, payment, download, diagnostic or usage information under the provider's own terms. LessWord does not control that store processing and does not receive it through Color.Cee.

Support by email

If you contact Color.Cee support, we process the email address, message, technical email metadata and any attachments you choose to send so that we can answer your request. This processing takes place outside the app and is not app data collection.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in providing support) and, where your request concerns a contract or pre-contractual steps, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Support messages are received through Gmail, operated by Google. We delete ordinary support correspondence once the matter is complete and no legal or legitimate reason requires further retention. Statutory retention duties remain unaffected.

Your rights

Subject to the legal conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for reasons arising from your particular situation. Contact colorceelw@gmail.com.

You may also complain to a data-protection authority. The supervisory authority for private companies in Bavaria is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
